Youth Rugby Summer Camp, Laramie

April 28, 2017 WRO

Hi Parents & kids of Laramie and greater area,

Join Wyoming Rugby’s “Youth Rugby Summer Camp” in Laramie. This is a developmental league to develop fundamental rugby skills. The Rookie rugby leagues are a great start to teaching our youth about the great sport of rugby. Rookie Rugby is the US brand of flag rugby. Rookie Rugby is a safe, non-contact, easy to play game for both boys and girls of all ages! It is played in schools, parks & recreation leagues, and community organizations across the country. The rules are simple, the game is easy to learn, and minimal equipment is required.

A free youth rugby introduction will be held Wednesday, June 7th (6:00pm till 7:30pm) Location: Deti Stadium. A player assessment and skills clinic will be held June 14 -17. We will then divide teams, practice Wednesdays and create game schedules for Saturdays. Wyoming Rugby will be providing coach’s training and player skill development material to support both the participants and the coaches. Volunteer coaches and assistants are needed for this program and training is provided. If you are interested in coaching or assisting, please contact Bobby Watkins at (307)-399-4687 or
